....Little Things...Fine Things....: Borough Market

Spent last weekend in London, which was so much FUN!!! Woke up Saturday morning with Sushi for lunch in mind. TC was recommending Sushi Hiroba in Holborn, but wasnt open for lunch. Can you believe it, a restaurant not open for lunch in London on a Saturday. They are seriously missing out a lot in business....Sigh!!! Decided to try Feng Sushi in Borough Market, London Bridge. Unfortunately it was very Crowded and we were too hungry to Wait!!! So screw that, let's EAT in the Borough Market, which was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! So good that i miss out taking a lot of pictures...Sigh!!!

Firstly, tried the authentic English bangers, 3 grilled sausages in a bun...Two please with English Mustard and Chili Sauce. Dats £7 thank you!!! Moving on....We found Raclettes and Souvlaki...Yummy!!! Raclette dish originates from the Alps, derived from the French word 'racler' meaning 'to scrape'. The Raclette cheese is melted then scraped onto the plate served with potatoes, gherkins, pickled onions or etc. Typically eaten with tea or white wine. That's £4. Another £4 for souvlaki, a popular Greek fast food, consisting of small pieces of meat grilled on skewer. Served with garnishes and sauce wrapped in pita. For info, it is way different from kebab!!! I miss the souvlakis in Melbourne...Awwhh!!!

Then, fresh oysters from Richard Haward stall. Loads of people were Q-ing. Six fresh oysters please....served with lemon and tabasco....MMMmmm!!!! Dats £11 thank you!!! Many were saying there is also a fresh scallop stalls....Didnt see that....Next Time!!! Lastly, finished off with a pint of Farmhouse Cider. Excellent Choice!!! £2.80 per pint!!! Sat at the lawn in the Cathedral, enjoyin my Pint and the breezy weather....Perfect LunchTime expedition!!!! Thank you TC!!! Then, met up with TC's fren in London bridge pub for another pint, sitting next to River Thames, which was very Pleasant!!!

Next went to Amy's place to bum for an hour...Chit-chat and left abt 6pm to meet my old skool PAL... Vincent CHeah!!! Yes Yes...he is working in England now. So happen he is in London this saturday, so definitely have to meet up. Havent seen him for nearly 3yrs now and shocking to see him here in England!!!! GosH....Good to meet...so Much to Talk abt and Share!!!!
