Happy BirthDay to Me!!! Oct 23rd falls on a Monday this year. I'm officially 28yrs old now and 2 more years, its Thirties!!! Jeez...the Twenties pass really FasT and I still have recollection of how my past birthdays were spent!!! Honestly its not a BiG Hoo HaH to me, as long as I stay HappY, Eating well with Balance Lifestyle and still Earning $$$...dat will Kick me Goin...Haha!!! It was just an Ordinary BirthDay dinner with Frens in Cork. Decided to try the new Polish restaurant. Never had Polish cuisine in my life, so why not! Indeed it is very Hearty, Rich and Meaty i must say. The portion is Huge and cheap too. I had a Bowl of Soup and a Main...couldnt Finish!!! I would say not recommended to girls of small appetite. On the other hand, did anyone notice it is very seldom you would see a Fat Eastern European chick on the streets...Hmmm....wat do they eat then??? Perhaps just soup??? Or probably only the Slim Ones are away frm home while the Prosperous ones stayed back...Hahaha....just my ImaginaTion!!!! As the restaurant was NeW, they didnt have an Alcohol license yet...ShuCks... No Polish Beers...that's not Correct!!! So decided to go for drinks before home...

HaLLoWeeN 2006

It was HaLLoWeeN party last Friday. I know...Halloween weekend is this week but its tradition in RPS to have it a week early coz Halloween weekend is a bank holiday and oso Jazz Festival, so alot of colleagues will have their own Plans. This is my second HaLLoWeen party since I've joined RPS. It is something new to me the very First Time I attended. I've always heard of Halloween costume party since young but never a practice in Malaysia, not until I'm here. Its FuN!!! The first Halloween party, I turned up in Normal wear. I must admit I was Shy and not knowing Wat to Wear and Do. In the end, I got a HotDog Hat courtesy from the Bar Tender. But this year, I am All Up For It...totally PLan for and Thought Thru!!!! I am goin to the ParTy Dressing Up as A PuPPy....Hehe!!! I know it is suppose to be Halloween outfit and not FancyDress!!!! Well I'm sure you don't want to see 10 vampires or draculas drinking Beer together. So why not a HappY PuppY drinking Beer....Hahaha!!!!

Turned up late at the Party abt 930pm as I needed longer time to fix my costume. Everyone's costume was unbelievable. So many Ideas!!! This is even better than last Yr and more pple turned up this Yr too.. ..Yay Yay!!! I like Freddie Kruger best, the colours and details are well done! I like Stephen's TableLamp outfit, very SmaRt Idea!!! Jill is a Vampire Jockey, which is XtraOrdinary unlike normal Vampires and Dracula ideas...BriLLiant!!! And I got a Mouse Fren Hannes..Hehe!!! We are both in Pet Costume!!! Paul came as one of the Villains frm James Bond Movie Episodes. My housemate, Kalvin was a Pirate and his GF an Egyptian GirL!! Some guy came in a Sumo suit, which was Hilarous!!! Take a look at the pictures!!!

Had some HAlloWeen Games and guess wat I won the Best Male Costume!!! So did Jill, Best Female Costume...Yay Yay....Surprise Surprise!!! The prize was movie ticket vouchers and a Halloween Doll!!!! More drinking went around till abt 1230am, when the Bar closed!!! Was invited to Kevin's place to hangout but refused, as I was so Uncomfortable!!! Being covered in Fur for 3hrs, I was sweating Hell ALot in the Bar. The Bar was hot itself. The Sumo guy removed his outfit at some point too. I couldnt resist but to go home for a Shower when the party Ended!!!! It was A GreAT HalloWeen...

Cork Dim Sum

Woke up abt 11am on Sunday morning, got a slight headache from yesterday's wedding. But it was not too bad, at least I had enough sleeps. Made plans to meet Jill and Hannes for lunch. They discovered a restaurant serving Dim Sum, First Chinese restaurant that has Dim Sum. So definitely have to try!!! In fact, they have tried it already but still more than happy to eat with me again. Got there early about ten to one. Sat in the restaurant to have tea (relieves hangover) and eventually got to chat with the people in there. Surprisingly, most of them are from Malaysia too!!! From Seremban...A different State...Nevermind, still same country, and could even speak Cantonese...Yay Yay!!! Shared stories with them until Jill & Hannes arrived. They only have about 12 varieties and we ordered most of it with two extra side dishes. So ended up abt 11 dishes between 3 pple...Oops...Guess too much again...Hehe!!! Most of them are flown in from England, while some was made locally in the kitchen. The dim sum is not exactly very Yummy but good enuf to kill my Cravings!!! I like the Phoenix Claw and Char Siu Pau best...Hehe!!!

Hang around till 2plus before we head off into the city to scout for Halloween costumes, for the party coming weekend. Apparently there was a food market that Sunday in the city, selling cheese, bread, salami, brats and etc....very Interesting!!! Having done with what we had to do, we decided to get a drink. Feeling rather thirsty after the meal...Must be MSG....Haha!!! Bad luck that Boqueria Wine Bar was closed so ended up in Cafe de la Paix. Then only I knew, there's not many wine bars in Cork. Mostly shops selling them only. Had a bottle of Pinot Grigio...which was Lovely. I Love Pinot Grigio!!! Hang around till 6-ish before we left for home....
