....Little Things...Fine Things....: Family Dinner

Here are some photos taken over two of my favourite family dinner times. First was the Christmas dinner in Sudu @ KL Hilton. Took us quite sometime to find a nice restaurant that serves GOOD CHRISTMAS FEAST!!!! For two years, we have been having Xmas dinner in Lemon Garden @ Shang....which started off Marvellous but not anymore. So this year should be at a different venue. Honestly, Sudu did not have an extensive variety like Lemon Garden. But they had the right type of food which I thought was a must have for the price we pay. Cold platter was better in Lemon Garden, other than that Sudu was Excellent!!! Their turkey and roast lamb were more juicy, FresH Japanese FooD, Interesting Appetizers and Mouth Watering Deserts...(the Teppanyaki style Fry Ice cream was Interesting!!!!) The place had a unique Interor and was not so crowded, making it really PleasanT to slowly StuFF yourself SiLLy...Hehe!!!

The second dinner was in Pak Loh Chiu Chow Restaurant @ StarHiLL. Being a Teochew myself, I absolutely LoVe the Teochew cuisine. #1 dish of all time is the Cold Duck...a must in every Teochew restaurant and finish up with Yam Desert...mmmMMmmmm!!!! Of course oso the Teochew porridge...which suits everytime of the day!!! Actually, this dinner was also a celebration for my Little brother's BirThDay...Born on the 2nd Jan!!!! Happy Birthday again!!! Anyway, a few dishes were GooD...like the Fried Pork and Prawn Glutinous Rice....HoooH!!!! The duck was not very Tasty but the Yam Desert was YumYum!!! Knowing not many Teochew restaurants in KL, I would say this one would be one of the Better Ones in town. I have had really GooD ones elsewhere. Recommendation: one in Malacca and another in HongKong....very authentic!!!
