Today is the last day of Chinese New Year 2007....seems pretty Fast for 15days to go by. Hopefully next year would be a Bigger Better Celebrations for Everyone and myself. Last and final prediction offerings that I came across reading....Let See:

The sociable Pig: You are obliging, loyal, indulgent, truthful, impartial, intelligent, sincere, and cultured. Expressive wine: Gewurtztraminer, which is spicy, with lychee or rose flavours that make it exotic; from Alsace in France, Austria (where it’s called Traminer), Italy, New Zealand and the United States. Enigmatic wines: Complex but readily approachable Southern Rhones, such as the Chateauneuf du Pape, Coteaux du Tricastin, Costiere de Nimes, Cotes du Ventoux, and Cotes du Luberon.

The charming Rat: You are seductive, energetic, charming, meticulous, sociable, jolly, persistent and humorous. Original wine: Furmint (dry), a flavourful and distinctive wine from Hungary, better known for its syrupy sweet Tokaji. Captivating wines: German Rieslings; they range in taste from the dry (trocken) and half dry (halbtrocken) to the lightly sweet (spatlese), sweet (auslese), very sweet (beerenauslese) and syrupy sweet and complex (trockenbeerenauslese).

The tenacious Ox: You possess a stabilising force that perpetuates the cycle of life. Standing immobile against the tests of adversity, you are resolute and unimpeachable. Intense wines: Sweet ice wines from Canada; they can be made from Vidal, Riesling and even red Cabernet Franc. Innocent wines: Rose wines, often flowery, fruity and charming, from Southern France; Italian Cerasuolo, Spanish Rosado and Australian versions.

The courageous Tiger: You are generous, self-assured, passionate, active, sensitive and noble. Benevolent wines: Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, both named for the towns the vineyards surround, both Tuscan wines, made from similar grapes (clones of Sangiovese), each with a different character yet both full of grace. Impressionable wines: Gruner Veltliner, Austria’s most famous white wine, often peppery and celery-like in aroma but can be citrus like and rich in taste.

The virtuous Rabbit: You possess a generous character and an imaginative outlook. Passionate wines: Sweet dessert wines from Bordeaux (in France) from the famous Sauternes and Barsacs, to the affordable St Croix du Monts, Cotes de Bordeaux-Saint-Macaire, Graves Superieurs, Cerons, Loupiac and Cadillac, all made from the Semillon grape. A zealous wine: Primitivo, a heavy bodied serious red found in southern Italy.

Refreshing wines: Sauvignon Blanc, always bursting with aromas, from the grassy passion-fruited Kiwi style to the white peach- and lime-flavoured Australian style. Also found in the Loire valley and Bordeaux in France, the Americas and South Africa.

Pretty accurate prediction for me. I have always liked Shiraz for my Red and Chardonnay for my white....not easy to get Chablis though. Hope the same for you all and Enjoy your Wines sensibly throughout this year...ahaHaHa!!!!
